There are several ways to borrow a copy of the book we are discussing. You can browse the library shelves. We have two locations: 124 Grand Street Newburgh and The Town Branch located in the Newburgh Mall. If you have trouble finding the book, ask for help in locating a copy. |
Download e-books using OverDrive
Did you know you can borrow library books right on you smart phone and tablet? (However, you can read them right on the computer too.) You will need you library card number and pin, access to the internet. Go to NewburghLibrary.org and click on the "Books & More" tab. In the drop down menu you will see "downloads," click on it. Next you will see a picture of OverDive. Once you click on that, you will be taken to our collection of e-books. You can also click on the picture below. Or use the Buy It Now button on the library's online catalog!
Buy it now allows Library users to buy books, movies, and more from outside retailers through the library's online catalog. Best of all, a portion of each purchase is put right back into your library. Purchases aren't limited to just books, either: once you've made your first book purchase starting at the library's catalog, any purchase made through the service, including furniture, clothing, and more, will add to your library's funds. Buy It Now works just like regular online shopping, with no extra fees or costs for the library users or the library. Why Buy It Now? Perhaps you love a book so much that you want to own it. Or maybe you just don't want to wait for a hold. Now you can buy the book through the library's online catalog. But don't forget- you can still place a hold to borrow the book, just as you always have." |
